Once the initial 70 washes of your laundry egg are completed or the pellets are half their size (see video) the laundry egg can be opened. Discard the used pellets and add the contents of the refill box - two bags of white and one bag of black pellets. Twist the egg back together and you are ready to go with another 50 washes.
